Tom Becker is an amazing entertainer. I asked him to turn his Back Home Again Show into a Rocky Mountain Christmas Show and he did it beautifully. It really set the mood for the Holiday season. My residents can not stop talking about what a wonderful night of entertainment, Tom, Michelle and the band brought to Kings Gate. I had people come to me after the show and tell me Tom is better than John Denver. What an endorsement!! Thanks for a magical evening.

If you ever get an opportunity to see Tom's John Denver Tribute concert do NOT miss it. We were blessed to see this for the 9/11 evening in Conway, SC last night. Accompanied by the Long Bay Symphony was so beautiful. We have seen Tom and Michelle locally in Myrtle Beach often and they are so talented. They are also the most gracious of hosts, letting our daughter sing with them one time, and our friend's grandson play keyboard with them. They are such wonderful people. If you see "Latitude" playing anywhere, don't miss it. You will be so happy you got to hear Tom and Michelle sing.

We had the pleasure of having 'Back Home Again' perform at our theater and the show was wonderful. Indeed, a true tribute to John Denver's musical legacy. We came to Tom's John Denver tribute concert expecting to hear a delightful evening of John Denver songs. Wow! It turned out to be so much more than that.
While Tom's voice is remarkably similar to Denver's, he doesn't pretend to be John Denver. But the similarities are a wonderful walk down memory lane. I could close my eyes and hear John Denver singing.
I could tell that everyone else in the sold-out auditorium in northern Illinois was as enchanted as we were judging from the enthusiastic and frequent applause and standing ovations.
Tom comes with the same clear voice and passion for themes that embrace the outdoors, the mountains of Colorado, the wonderful people who influence our lives and especially the love for a special person. It was all the music of John Denver and more.
Tom is not just a very gifted singer and song writer but a faithful keeper and guardian of the music from a past era that he has chosen to nurture for future generations.

John Denver Tribute Show Was Almost Heaven. Given that I like Denver's songs so much anyway, I had pretty high expectations that I was going to enjoy the show, regardless. However, even those were surpassed by the performance Saturday night. Not only did he play of Denver's old fan favorites, he sang a couple of songs he'd written, as well as songs from the New Christy Minstrels, a folk music group he toured with during the 70's. Tom chatted with the audience between songs, giving background to the music and making jokes, even revealing his efforts at wooing his wife, who he met when they were songwriters in Nashville. During the show, Tom and Michelle Becker, along with Jimi Pappas on lead guitar, Gary Janco on drums and Skeet Mavis on bass, superbly performed Denver's music, and Tom's sunny personality and strong voice truly brought back the spirit of John Denver. The night was filled with nostalgic moments for me, as I'm sure for many of those attending the show.
